Hey why not...If we are the only ones that show up, it's up to us. Afterall, you can't very well complain if you don't get involved!!!

That's the Problem..
You see, that's the problem! You sign up and then wait for someone else to do the leg work. Sounds like my kids response, ''you didn't tell me to...''. When the lists were being signed, why didn't someone volunteer to call the others? Do you really expect the trustees to facilitate every event? (And don't get me wrong, I am not a big fan of the trustees!!) Do they plan the parties and fireworks too (yet people seem to come forward for these..). Pick a date, ask for volunteers and do it!! If no one shows, it's your party..do as you like!! I'll do it, but I do love pink flamingos and blue cows.....

Newsletter
We all receive a newsletter. It is not done by the HOA, but can be very informative. If someone wants to something it is usually communicated in the newsletter. An example would be the Bonfire, Halloween parade etc..
The Trustees are not involved. It is a group of homeowners that decide it would be fun, good for BBF, and may be good for a charity.
If someone wants to get people involved would this not be a good way to communicate the need to others.
Contact the person who creates the newsletter.

Now That's the Idea...
Amen! Now that's what I'm talkin' about! That's how you get involved!! It would be very simple if anyone is truely motivated!! Otherwise, it's me and my falmingos....
