So what are they selling this time? The same gal has been at our door 3 times today. You would think that after visiting us twice and not getting an answer (it's obvious we're home and not answering the door) she would get a clue and move on (and not come back). A week or so ago it was some dude (dressed in all brown )knocking on our door after 9:00 pm!

Solicitors

How do you know they were Solicitors, if you didn't even answer the door ?
Maybe they were from the neighborhood and had a question or needed help. If you don't want Solicitors, put up a sign. DUH !

We put a very small note ''no soliciting'' in the sidelight of our door. When someone comes soliciting I just point to the note. We had the same soliciter last night. I just pointed to the note and she waved and left.

They are just as bad as the phone telemarketers. It IS very frustrating. If you DO open the door then they do not want to leave. You almost have to be rude & just shut your door to get them to go away. I do not like when they are pushing religion and those ones always selling the magazine subsriptions & artwork. They come around here all the time. I do not answer my door if there is not a car that I recognize in the driveway.
