Has anyone noticed how dark the enterance to our neighborhood is at night? We don't have a light on the Shadow Creek sign (the rock) which makes it hard to find in the dark. Most neighborhoods are lit up. Some landscape maintainance wouldn't hurt either. I realize most of us are trying to get our own lawns to grow, but does anyone have any thoughts on this?

Entrance to Shadow Creek
The United Way has many grants available to help neighborhoods with expenses such landscaping and lighting. Maybe we could organize a chat or a meeting to get everyone in the neighborhood involved in giving their opinion on how to deal with the entrance.

Enterance
Good idea! I would be happy to organize a meeting. Maybe I'll just put a flier in everyone's mailbox just to make sure everyone is aware of this effort.

Expunging Shadows from our Creek
I perfectly agree that our entrance is too dark. Having just moved in to my new home and not yet used to driving without all of the city lights, I almost always have to slam on the breaks so I don't miss the turn. I must say this action sends my unamused passengers into a seatbelt locking frenzy. Compared to the other community entrances along South Old State, ours definately can use a little TLC (flowers, solar lights, etc.). My family and I will be glad to help in any way to beautify our rock.
