I've notice alot of homes with signs

''For Sale or Lease''. To my understanding homes in the Woods Of Jefferson cannot be rented.Am I mistaken?

Houses May Be Rented!

There is nothing in the ''Declaration of Covenants, Easements, Conditions and Restrictions for The Woods at Jefferson'' that says you can not rent out your home.

It does state that ''No lot may be used for hotel or transient uses . . .'' and ''All leases shall be in writing and shall be subject to this Declaration.''

Hi Michael - I had the same question, but I am told that our deed restrictions do allow this.

Owners

Based on the deed, we cannot use our property for transients, hotel usage, etc. This is a good thing. However, we own our house and as long as we keep up our property and carefully screen applicants we should reserve the right to rent/lease our homes.
