It is great that we have determined the dates for the yard sales. My concern is signs hung on the poles and eventually our neighborhood looking like campus. Is it possible to run an article in the next newsletter asking homeowners NOT to hang signs on poles? This would also include lost animals, etc.

Thanks,

Tina
reply to yard sale

Tina,
It is actually against city code to hang any kind of sign on the poles. It is also against code to put signs in front of the development. However, people still do it. This drives me insane since I am a Code Enforcement Officer with the City. The drawback? It is not my area. Please, call the Code Officer and make complaints. His name is John Lehman and his number is 645-0699. The more you call and bug, the better chance things will be done.
Newsletter

Tina,

We will put that in the next newsletter!!

Signs

We were actually told by the Department of Development that we could put community meeting and event signs in the landscape beds for no more than 6 days.

But yes, the signs on the poles are not allowed.
