I just signed up to host a Rally for Clean Energy run by MoveOn.org Political Action.

Right now, voters want real solutions to the energy crisis -- that means serious investment in alternative energy and green jobs. Meanwhile, the Republicans keep obstructing big changes and pushing for multi-billion dollar giveaways to Big Oil.

We've had enough. On August 19, MoveOn members around the country are joining in Rallies for Clean Energy to say: don't use our tax-dollars to subsidize Big Oil -- invest instead in a new clean energy economy.
