To All Dog Walkers in SP

Posted in: Suggs Park
Obviously some of you haven't seen the City's ''Dogs Still Can't Flush'' campaign and heard about the BIG fine if you're caught letting your dog poop on public or private property!

This morning when I mowed my side lawn which runs next to one of our busier neighborhood streets, there it was! Several little glumps of dog poop! Now understand that this isn't a big dog who visited my lawn early this morning.....it was a smaller dog. And...since I see several ladies who cruise by in the early mornings with their little dogs, I'm assuming that it's one of them who left me this ''surprise''.

Get a grip folks! I don't walk my dog and let her poop in your yard! Please carry a bag or stay at home with your dog!

In Addition...

I am am disappointed with dog owners that allow their dog to use the school and the park as a dumping grounds. Children play in both of these areas. The teachers at school do not like to smell dog poop brought into their classrooms on the shoes of children from the playground. Parents do not want said poop in their homes either.

Please clean up after your pet.

So true.....

We agree.....take your dog and your clean-up bag to the park to run. It's not that far from anyone in the neighborhood. Those poor school kids and teachers have enough to deal with since the geese love the school ground, too.

How.....I ask you how!

How does a dog on a lease get all the way up to my flowerbed to leave me ''little surprises''?! I'd say that we have a few folks who let their dogs out for an evening or an early morning run......without themselves! Anyone else have this senario at their house?
