Okolona Park Neighborhood Association

Has anyone else noticed the amount of trash and dead landscaping  along outer loop and entrance/exit ramps to I65? I have emailed Madonna Flood and the mayor about only to be told it is the states responsiblilty. Maybe If we can get more calls and emails out this problem can be resolved more quickly. Also noticed in the courier journal today they are investing 400,000.00 in okolona park to include restrooms new play equipment and a pinic pavilion. Let me say its about time that is one of the worst most useless parks right now and its a shame since I can walk to it. I used to live in St Matthews and prior to that Hikes Point and yes the city does spend more money in the eastern end of the county.
