Attorney:
Debi has contacted an attorney that specializes in HOAs, they have agreed to review our current Restrictions and will provide lien/judgment and other correspondence on our behalf.
Written notices:
Reed - pool and shed, Bill will contact this homeowner that has a concern over pools and sheds in the neighborhood
Mainord - board issues, Board reviewed and approved a response to his email, which has been sent
Advertising Sign in back of home, Board reviewed and approved a form response to the backyard green advertising sign.
Dues Related:
Ballenger dues for 2003
Misiorows - past due dues
two vacant properties
Collection of past dues, Attorney can help advise
62 homes have not paid yet, decision was made to send a certified letter asking for payment once again
Pond:
George has made available a contact for the prospective engineer to sign once we have a plan that we agree to.
Immediate need for a screen to help contain fish that would help maintain water
Tim has agreed to call contacts for possible economic solutions to our pond issue.
A $45,000 bid has been rejected and will not be pursued
Fountain:
The fountain is with Clearwater and should soon be in place.
Welcome committee:
Andrea Wilhoit has agreed to help with a much needed welcome committee that would also have Amanda, Martha, and Debi. They will discuss further at their Bunko gathering this evening
Email feedback related to Block party
July 4th date for Block party has been dismissed, although a parade that incorporates all ages on the 4th could happen. It was suggested that Candy, Lisa form a committee to develop an appropriate gathering that would cater to all ages and be on a cooler month.
Garage Sale info:
Ads will be placed in the KC Star and Examiner for the Garage sale dates are April 28th, 29th, 30th May 1st
Meeting time changes:
Procedure for a meeting change established, one week advanced notice and changed only if all members can agree to new time/date
Exhaust System Storage:
Needs a letter
Weed Spraying:
not discussed
Trash Service:
discussed the possibility and cost. Issues surround accepting responsibility for collecting ''trash dues,'' since the trash company is requesting one check from HOA. Appears to be some concern over the actual cost savings for the individual homeowner.
Trees:
Board approved purchase of tree gators that would water trees.
Community cleanup day needs to be established.
