I also am confused by the suggested new policy. If there are people at the pool who have badges loaned to them by residents, I don't see what the problem is. You can confirm with the "resident" who these people are b/c all badges have a # associated with a unit.
I don't think it is an undue hardship for the lifeguard to check to see if people have badges. If there is something suspicious going on, then it should be reported to the management. We pay a substantial management fee and I think this is part of management's responsibility to handle issues such as this.
As far as how much $$ OFC makes off guest badges, that is an entirely different issue. We owners pay a condo fee which includes membership at the pool. We should be able to use our badges as we see fit.
I rarely use my pool passes but I agree that since I am paying for them, I should be allowed to share them with friends and family whether or not I am present at the pool.
Lastly, it sounds like it would be an additional expense to take everyone's photos. Is this really necessary? Let the management do its job.
was reading the Anvil and i'm alittle confused. With the positive-identity ID tags that Mr. Ryan would like to incorporate ... for single people who get two badges what does that mean. Are we still going to be allowed to allow a friend to join us at the pool as long as they are using the spare badge?
My family always visits me in the summer and while they are staying with me and i'm at work why would they not be allowed to use my two badges that I have to go for a swim while i'm at work? I pay a condo fee and I should be allowed to use the two badges that I have any way I want to. What are other peoples thoughts on this?
