San Rafael Neighborhood Board of Directors Meeting
March 31, 2004

In attendance: Jennifer Carter, Kipp Lockwood, Danny Buscarello, Nelson Bock, Paul Brothe, Marty Jones

The following items were discussed in the meeting:
1. Marti and Jennifer met with representatives from the City. Elbra Wedgeworth has been contacted regarding a waiver of the fee required to submit a zoning change. Kent Strapko also need to be contacted.
2. The group reviewed a plan for a parking garage on part of the vacant area previously occupied by East Village.
3. Nelson advised that Children?’s Hospital is discussing the viability of the preservation of Tammen Hall (the oldest of the Children?’s buildings), for renovation as condominiums.
4. A zoning change for the remaining OD zoning change for City Park West was briefly discussed.
5. The group voted to participate with the annual Keep Denver Beautiful neighborhood clean-up on Saturday, May 22, 2004. Leaflets will be distributed to the neighborhood at the beginning of May.
6. The construction in the southwest corner of 20th and Washington is a restaurant ?– Pizza and Wings.
7. The telephone numbers for the neighborhood police officers were distributed. Lynn Nederhoed 303-461-9883 and Chet Neal 303-461-9874.
