National Night Out

Scheduled for August 5, 2003
The Following activities were assigned:
1. Location - The Graber's - Paul to call and arrange
2. Agenda - Nelson to develop (part of the event designated as the annual meeting for elections to the Board).
3. Contact CHUN - Bonita
4. E-mail notification to save the date - Don Gortner
5. Flyer (800 copies - to Katherine by 7-22-03) - Paul and Don Gortner
6. Refreshments - Helen
7. Setup - Kipp
8. Flyer Distribution - Katherine & Donna
9. Invited Guests (Police, City Council, State Rep, etc.) - Nelson

Neighborhood Clean-up

Suggested for National Make Difference Day (but this will not work). Coordination prior to the visit of the National Trust for Historic Preservation on October 4, 2003. New suggested date prior weekend.

Yard Sale

Suggested date is September 6, 2003 (rain date - September 13, 2003). Same format as last year. Kipp will follow-up with Safeway to determine if we could use the corner of the Safeway parking lot. After the meeting I spoke with Ray Stranske - they are also holding their Hands-for-Hope event on the 6th. I told him we would try to promote this in our e-mails.
