I am so happy to find this site in this community. My family was raised here in the Mound and we all went to Melrose. I played basketball, not well, and ran track for Melrose Jr. High. I was in the class of 1979, the last class to attend Old Melrose and my sense of pride in the History and the Potential here is huge. Fortunately, or unfortunately, I graduated from Central High School's Optional Program.
When I had the chance I made a concious decision to come back to Orange Mound and while I unfortunately haven't been as active in Orange Mound's interest in the past I am more than ready to be active from this day forward. Naw I do not want to hold any office or anything I just want to help make a difference here at home.
