After the meeting yesterday evening (8-16-01), it was decided that a questionnaire will be circulated to get a feel for the level of involvement that each houshold would be comfortable supporting, since not all residents were present. Look for this to appear on your mailbox, and please answer in earnestness. The major portion of this involves if improvements should be made to our neighborhood entrance, how much it would cost, and how that would be funded. Options include an outside firm to perform this improvement and service which would require residents to pay an amount of their fair share for this hands-off service, or residents do the work for probably much le$$ (but there is a cost for materials), and then some compromise in between these extremes where a professional firm would perform the initial work and residents would maintain it. It seems there will be some cost no matter what (unless we do nothing about it), and the questionnaires should reveal what residents are willing to $upport in that way. The owner of the entrance property will be contacted as well to get their cooperation. I don't think there is another meeting scheduled yet, but the questionnaire may reveal that.
