Orchard Hill

Hello,

I have an upcoming 1 year walkthrough and would like some feedback from those who have lived in Orchard Hill for over 1 year on how thier walkthrough went. Please inform me of any issues you may have had so I can be on the lookout. We have had settling of dirt around our house, creeky floors, and loose window screens. I have been very pleased that we have not had any major drywall cracks.

Write everything down.  Use paint tape to mark the areas that have to be repaired.  Things to be on the lookout for are nail pops,  definitely the dirt settling and the loose window screens.  All my screens were replaced because they kept falling out.  They have new screens with tabs.  Look for cracks around the windows on the inside. 

Another thing to be on the lookout are your kitchen cabinet doors.  Some of them might not shut or be warped.  Close you cabinet doors and make sure they are closed tightly, that there are no gaps from top to bottom.
