We were routing for Janice. It is nice to have someone else with children on the board.

According to the meeting Peter was not elected to the board.  The one person who was running was at work and did not attend.  Peter was nominated but the floor agreed to have the people running be accepted.  The floor cannot be overturned. The minutes should show that, if not we have a problem already.

The board has to get on the management company to get the minutes out.  Has been over a month.  Homeowners should have received them by now.  There are important things that should have been documented.  My concern is the management company and Lacrosse is waiting a long period of time, so we forget what was told would be documented.

The board must realize that when you have a large community that COMMUNICATION IS KEY!

If we have a board, what is the need for the management company? I would hope the HOA could manage without all that money going to the management company.

Another question is, what does Lacrosse have to do with anything? The management company has the homeowners money, so Lacrosse should not get a say in anything anymore.

I hope those elected are steering us in the right path, I am sure it is overwhelming at the start.  Considering the age of the develpment, the numer of residents, and the deceptive  ways of Lacrosse Homes, I would expect that the newly elected board is busy with a start up plan.

I expected a letter advising the community about the meeting, future plans, and current "events". That way we would all know where we stand.

Another issue, with the annual fee's being paid this year, it would be nice to see where that money is going.

I am just glad the grass got cut on the vacant lots.....i am still exhausted from that fiasco.

To let you know.  The board has been working at a fevorish pace.  A draft of the minutes is ready to go.  Peter Herka was set as an alternate at the meeting.  Susan Dix who ran and was elected has resigned and we took our alternate.

We are working with Lacrosse and Croll and the city of Milford to get the empty lots leveled a bit to reduce water, get them mowed and keep them mowed and get the irrigation in the center circle up and running.  So you all know, Croll is planning to have the roads in the new sections paved by September.  As building continues, if the roads get damaged, the City will fix them.

We have been working for a month, starting from scratch.  Please have some patience for us.

THe board went out and hand delivered late payment letters to all the delinquent payers of hte HOA bill.  If you have not payed, please do.  We are still with Legum and Norman for now, on a month to month basis because we figured they could give us some advice for now on how to do this.  We have Lacrosse on the board so we are kept in the loop of building and continually aware of what is going on.

We are planning to have a general membership meeting in September, after school starts.

For those of you worried about money.  None has been spent so far.  Lacrosse has paid the bill for the lawn mowing and since it is Crolls, they should now be footing that bill.  We need to have all the dues paid so we can proceed with plans.

If you have not yet completed the information forms we passed out, please do so immediately.  We need those so we can contact everyone and make a directory.  There are also plans to make our own website with no anonymous posts.

If we all do our part, there will not be any problems.

THank you
