Hello Fellow Homeowners,

Happy New Year!
I received the letter today for the $165.00 H.O.A. fee. Did the fee go up from last year? Did I miss a vote or something?

Also, the meeting is scheduled for January 20, 2009 to "approve the budget", so wouldn't an increase in the annual fee come if/when the budget is approved? Can there be a vote to lower it? I think we could get by on less.

I was a little surprised to see an increase. I know the town of Milford provides us with quite a bit, and for that we pay taxes. I am also questioning what amount of responsibility the Homeowners have at this time. The main problems I see are due to the builder and on vacant lots, such as: flooding, construction equipment, and upkeep. It seems that such a drastic increase in these economic times is unjustified and unnecessary.

I will be interested to see where such a large amount of money goes in the upcoming meeting. The prior budget was vague and inflated in my opinion. I hope the preparation of this budget proposal is a little more clear and reasonable.

Thank You,

Nobody will participate in the votes. That is the problem. I believe they are mismanaging the money too. . . I hope they enjoy the new computer they bought.

NEW COMPUTER ????   care to elaborate??    who is in posession of it ???

They want to force out all the people who are not "high end"" and turn this into a country club atomoshphere..

what they fail to realize is that high HOA fees will make it impossible for people to sell their homes...

which I plan to do the minute I see an uptick in the housing situation...
