dear curious--what do you mean, disappear again? I understand that about 18,000 per month is delinquent...we've got a lot of people not paying there fair share...this ''new'' board has been no better than all of the others--only the new board members apparently are not performing there responsibilities regarding collections..didn't these people promise a reduction in dues in exchange for petition signitures? Wasn't one of the complaints voiced was the comminity is not being informed by the board--are you better informed now? Seems to me that a grasp for power was the real reason behind the recall...are were we all lied to? Just wondering |

youre right in saying that the new ones have not been better than the previous. tenants like me that am paying my dues monthly and have not seen any changes would have to probably pay another increase due to the irresponsibility of the members of the board not doing their duties. I would like them to answer, what is happening with the money? The lawn service is very poor. This is the only thing im getting for my money. I have not seen any house being painted. promises promises. all this is costing a lot of money to people like me and see nothing to justify where our money is going. By curious |

BOTH RIGHT AND WRONG
Yes the new members of the Board sold the community a bill of goods which they are unable to fulfill. They want to reduce the assessment fees and provide more services. As the old saying goes you get what you pay for. They (the new board members) havn't got a clue as to what they are doing. They are wasting our time trying to accomplish nothing. As for where your money is going, it is going into the repair of roofs which was ignored by the old Board and trying to put money in the reserve account to pay for the services you discussed. This also was a failure of the past Boards who didn't plan for the future needs of the Association. Now we are having to back paddle and cure these ills and people guess what!! IT TAKES MONEY!!!!. You can't lower the dues and still pay the bills. nEXT, YOU are not tenants, YOU ARE HOMEOWNERS, this is not an apartment complex and the Board of Directors are not your landlords. Wake up and read your documents, each and every homeowner is a partner in this and needs to start taking responsiblity for this Association. Come to the meetings and give the Board your support. By your absence you are allowing these incompitent individuals to distroy what was set up tho be a affluent Association. Yes the Board IS going after the individuals who have not paid. It is a time consuming process that is now at the stage of FORECLOSURES. We are currently almost $40,000. in the hole because of people not paying. Our courts are slow so what do you expect the Board to do? Last of all you have forgotten that the Board of Directors is a VOLUNTEER position. They give their time and energy for what, nothing but to try and protect this Association. If you don't like what you see run for the the Board and FIX IT. By I LIVE HERE WITH EYES WIDE OPEN |
