Just went back to double check some of the figures, the roofs alone this year have cost us $175,000.00 + and that does not fix the last 80 homes still to go. The Lawn mowing contract is 100,000.00 +. Operting expenses include electric for the entrance signs, HOA building and Escondito House. The list goes on and on. Some of our new Board members promised that they would lower the dues. They lied to the people. In order to lower the dues you have to change the documents. If you can't get the people to react to the mailing how do you expect change when it take 2/3's of the Association to vote for and change the rules. The change we need is from the community. Step up and stop letting the minority run this community, get involved and do your part.

NEWS FLASH: There are some individuals try to disban the Association. By our Documents if the Association is disbanned all the Endowment funds and common properties are returned to CED (the developer) and they ahve the dubious right to give it all to charity. We get NOTHING out of it. These people have NOT READ THEIR DOCUMENTS. It's boring at best but it rules what we do in this DEED RESTRICTED COMMUNITY.

for your info. i pay my dues and my kids dont use these pools. it might be your kids and yourself damaging these things. if you cant handle your kids move out. mine are well educated and know how to respect. do yours?

Yes I too pay my dues and not only do my children respect but they uphold the laws of this country and state. I was not refering to you personally but to the membership as a whole. That was just a part of the message. I hope you read the whole message. We need to live by the rules of this Association and not sit back with the ''This doesn't apply to me attitude. The sad part is that only a handfull of us actuall read this web site, and care what is happening in this Association. Please get out and volenteer your time and services because that is what it will take to get this place back on track. Also think what a positive influnce this is on your children and their futures.

I agree but your message was a reply to mine and I took it as an insult. We need everyones cooperation. The board members should do whatever it takes to collect the monies from the people that dont pay because, think of it, who is going to carry the burden at the end? you and I that love our neighborhood and pay our dues.
