I don't know how others who attended last nights meeting feel, but I was a little confused about Clara Mae Bird's discussion on Robert's Rules. I did not hear one rule being discussed. I heard her telling us what we should or should not talk about at that meeting. I heard her say that the meeting wasn't for personal agendas but then spoke to her personal agenda about her privacy fence being plastic and that the Architectural Committe approved it. That may be true but that is in direct violation of House Rule K, 2 ''all fences must be made of wood''
Re: General Membership Meeting

I struggle with how petty your arguments are, Dana. While Clara Mae's explination about Robert's Rules could have been better, what purpose does it serve to pick fights about it the next day? What do you gain from this other than feeding your own anger?? I appreciate your passion for making our neighboorhood a fair and honest place, but is picking fights really the way to go about it?!?! The majority of us moved into this community because it was ''nice'', or ''family friendly'', or ''quiet''. I would assume that the majority of us did not move into a neighboorhood to be continually harrassed by one or two people with a personal vendetta against the board and other community members.

General Membership Meeting

I find it amusing that you won't identify yourself. One can throw stones all they want to and then hide their identiy seems cowardly to me. I was honoring Clara Mae's interpretation of Robert's Rules. I could have spoken up and drug the meeting on for a long time over Robert's Rules but chose not too. But why have someone stand up there and spout out one thing while doing just the opposite? Why you think this is a petty argument is beyond me. If you are going to have rules, then follow them. Not for one or two but uniformly for everyone. I do not feed my anger. I am just trying to keep everyone informed. I do believe it was brought up numerous times at the meeting this is a good forum for just that purpose. I am not picking fights. If pointing out facts is picking a fight then I guess I am guilty. I moved here as it seemed to be a nice, quiet, family oriented neighborhood. It has changed dramatically since I moved in. I do not have a vendetta, personal or otherwise, against anyone in this neighborhood. I just get tired of seeing people being treated unfairly while others get treated better. I questions things and get called a troublemaker. I ask for repairs that should be taken care of in a timely manner and am ignored. I find that the more neighbors talk more problems are being brought to light, some the same and some others had no idea about. It has appeared that some community members want to keep everyone in the dark, that way no one knows what is really going on. If I am that person, so be it.
