Minutes of Overland Neighborhood Association (ONA) [Overland Park Neighborhood Association {OPNA}]  3/25/10

Call To Order: 6:37pm

Minutes of the last meeting were approved as read.  Treasurer’s Report ($1136.75 balance) was approved.

Ray Ehrenstein noted the Inter-Neighborhood Coop (INC) meeting on the new zoning code (Version 4.1 at newcodedenver.org) on April 21 at 1:00pm. 

Garage Sale date (June 12) was approved.  Ice Cream Social at Grant Frontier Park date (July 22: same as OPNA meeting) was approved.

A Proposed official sign ("Welcome to OPNA") at Jewell & Santa Fe was mentioned.

Jennifer Redes of Councilman Nevitt's office noted the return of street sweeping in April and a system of reminder emails or text messages.  She said a strategic parking meeting will be held April 28.

President Sandy said she would invite Jeff Shoemaker of the Greenway Foundation to our April meeting.

Neighbors affected argued for speed bumps on Galapago Street between Dartmouth and Evans Avenues.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:22pm.
