The Overlook of Carriage Hills

Neighborhood alert....there was another vehicle break in last night, May 2nd on Carriage Dove. I have posted some signs on the mailboxes so that everyone can continue to be aware of the crimes taking place in our neighborhood.

Gated neighborhood?

In response to the break-ins: I think that if the neighborhood were to be gated it would cut down on crimes, at the same time increase value in all the homes. Does anybody know what it would take or cost to put a gate at the front of the neighborhood? We could pose this question to the board members. A majority vote from residents could result in our neighborhood to become gated. I hope this will help Gloria and I'm sorry to hear the bad news about your car.

Vehicle Break-in

Our vehicle was broken into overnight from May 5 to May 6. This was the second time something had happened at our home. About two weeks earlier, someone stole 4 large potted plants from the front area of our home. I agree that we need to inquire about gating the community. It would be about time we put our HOA fees to some good use. We had not posted anything, but have been frustrated about this. We should not have to worry about our homes and the safety of our families.
