No way to humble that woman
Mrs. Bushman's kingdom will continue to thrive until we elect a new mayor, who, by the city charter, chooses and oversees the city manager.
She will find other ways to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars of our tax money on attorneys for her favorite cause of the day and council, sans one (Shaver), will rubber stamp it via emergency.

Annexation Opposition Falls Short
COLUMBUS - Opponents of a new law that would make it tougher for cities to annex township land have not enough signatures yet to put the issue on the November ballot, the state said Wednesday.
The coalition of Ohio cities had until Dec. 17 to collect the additional 63,558 signatures needed, said Carlo LoParo, spokesman for Secretary of State Kenneth Blackwell.
One of the members of the coalition against the new law is Pickerington.
The state?’s first overhaul of annexation law in 35 years gives townships and counties more say in annexation attempts by cities and villages. It requires county commissioners to consider the impact of annexation on property outside townships and makes cities and villages reimburse townships for some of the taxes that are lost upon annexation.
