I know you are all probably sick of hearing from me but I have to suggest this:
I suggest that all homeowners abutting developable land, City or Township, request a topography map (TOPO) from the City or Township before development occurs. Trust me the TOPO request is in your best interest. They most likely will not be able to provide the TOPO map. At least you requested the map. (KEEP RECORDS)
Hire a surveyor to get exact elevations on your own and surrounding properties. (KEEP RECORDS)
