Pickerington Area Taxpayers Alliance

Just concerned about PATA ?

Posted in: PATA
I've noticed that most of you community concern has to do with the PATA group.

Does this same community concern extend to other groups that may be mis-using their groups platform ?? Have you issued similar challenges to the Pickerington Republican Club that you have listed for PATA on 11-17 ??

I think the organization you need to be asking these questions of is the Pickerington Republican Club.

They solicit dues from all area Republicans - yet spend it in a manner that does not promote all Republican candidates.

Who voted on how to spend the money for their most recent mailing ? Where was the vote conducted ? Did they have the required number of Board Members present to conduct a vote ?? How many Board Members were present ? How many Board Members were advised of the specific time & place of the meeting ? Does the vote reflect the position of their club members ? Why did it not specifically state that it did not include all Republican candidates ?? Why was it called a Voter's Guide ??

Is it a conflict of interest for a Board Member who is up for election to vote on how & where Club Monies are spent ?? Especially if they are directed toward his own re-election campaign & specifically does not include other area Republicans ??

I think our community that needs help in many areas. Working toward positive change is important - You appear to be somewhat one dimensional in your crusade against PATA.
You're wasting your breath

He cannot and will not answer your questions. All he will do is ask more. In between posts he is on the phone asking the puppeteers what they want him to put up next.

I assure you that if he doesn't come clean soon, I can play his game and create 20 postings to take up an entire page asking him question after question and make accusations like he did. I have tried and tried to coax him into fessing up with his agenda but he won't.

I just haven't done it yet because I feel the readers of this forum have been insulted enough by his antics.
Pickerington Republican Club

Lisa,

I too am concerned about the accusation that the Pickerington Republican Club met in a darkened hallway to endorse candidates. I have mailed three letters to individuals with a copy of Ed Laramee's posted letter of November 4th. I will let you know when I get replies back.

I too think that it is serious enough for all Republicans to be concerned.

In addition, I have been in contact with the Ohio Elections Commission regarding the information posted here on this website regarding Mr. Laramee's November 4th. I decided last week prior to my questions on PATA not to file a formal complaint against the organization even though it seems clear to me that PATA is operating as a political action committee without the proper legal authority.

I think there is a proper way to resolve differences of opinion. It is clear that some readers (and I mention only some readers) cannot tolerate a difference of opinion, a different viewpoint, and questions made of their organization which prides itself in asking questions.
