Those viewing the PATA web site and reading the 4,500 copies distributed to area householders of our latest Newsletter now have a very clear picture of what the real of limitations toward ?“cooperation & a sense of doing what this in the best interests of this community?” have been.

I can?’t possible thank Mark Uher & Debbie Carlier enough for showing their true colors.

Mr. Uher is the ?“Co-Chair?” of the Citizens for a Strong Violet Township ?– Pickerington. The other ?“Co-Chair?” is Daryl Berry, of Police station fame. While Ms. Carlier babbles about dense residential development all of you can read (in our latest Newsletter) about the condos & apartments that ARE in our school district thanks to Mr. Berry.

Ms. Carlier, the ?“Vice Chair, Communications?” for the same groups has done a wonderful job of communicating to our community members ?– how you might ask ?– on our web site - showing just how ?“cooperative?” she can be. Clearly their organizations web site was not going to reach the public ?– they didn?’t put in the effort to create one. Their newsletters were too much work, so here she is on the PATA web site showing you what she is all about.

Neither Ms. Carlier, Mr. Sigman, nor Lori Sanders (all of School Board Majority fame) has said one word about the 850 acres of lands annexed before September of this year via R4 ?“deals?”. None have stepped to the plate from their positions of authority to say one word about the Oct. 24th annexations of another 680 acres of land, despite Ms. Carlier?’s postings about cooperative land zoning of the JEDC. Why isn?’t this also ?– as she put it in her 5-22-01 letter about the CEDA ?“In reality, it is just another greedy land grab.?” Of course it?’s a Pickerington land grab ?– so that makes all the difference. It?’s higher density apartments and condos for Daryl Berry?’s benefit ?– so it?’s not the same.

Enter into the equation the new Political Action Committee ?– ?“Citizens to Keep Pickerington Schools Excellent and Cost Effective?” with there Treasurer, Oscar Callison. You?’ve read Mr. Uher?’s words about this group endorsement of candidates Monhollen, Sanders, and Maurer for Pickerington School Board. Would it surprise you to know that Mr. Callison is Ms. Carlier?’s father, he is. Do they want to impact growth ?– no!

You should know that figures from the November 1st meeting of the newly formed redistricting efforts for operating (2) High Schools and Junior High Schools had some very informative information:

By 2006-2007 we will likely reach the optimal capacity of all 4 schools.

Next year we will need (2) portables at the Diley Middle School.

Actions are being considered for additional bussing runs to resolve the ?“gang?” problems that are taking place at some of our schools and spread these students out through the district.

You?’ve read their words about how wonderful it is that the Pickerington Area Republican Club has ?“endorsed?” candidates. Do you know that Mr. Douglas Parker is the President of this club, Mr. Bill Wright is the Vice President and Mr.?’s Maxey & Monebrake are members? The fact filled posting provided by Mr. Ed Laramee says it all about this groups decisions to endorse themselves. EVERY candidate running is a Republican, they?’re just not a Daryl Republican. There is also a ?“hidden?” message within those individual endorsements for Township Trustees. I?’ve watched Jeff Fix go toe to toe with current Council members over the Diley annexation and re-zoning and over Pickerington?’s attempt to ?“hostilely?” annex Ruth Pifer?’s land. These current Councilmen want no part of Mr. Fix?’s approach to planned growth.


Web site and Newsletter viewers have been highly educated about the facts vs. the Carlier, Uher opinions. Thank you Mark and Debbie, this couldn?’t have done it without your persistence.

Dear Bob,

I'm sorry but I did not see on your home page the Columbus Dispatch article that you reference in your last posting. Remember the one about all the quotes from school board members and administrators about how nasty PATA is and their opposition our schools.

Your credibility to present facts honestly is slipping, Bob. Can we believe anything you post, now?
