Gee.. I hope your cover had to do with how much of a SNOW JOB the Pickerington government is piling on us.... ?‘cuz if it wasn?’t snow and was FERTILIZER then things would be as foul smelling as they are living through this nightmare!

Gridlock Snowballs

The PATA newsletter cover page means we are ALL getting dumped on! Not only the citizens of the city but everyone that lives in the PLSD. The snow ball rolling down hill could represent TAXES, it could represent HOUSES, and it could represent SCHOOL AGE CHILDREN?

It could represent our road system. I don?’t know if anyone remembers, but about this time last year a woman from Stonebridge stood before the Pickerington City Council and complained about the traffic cutting through Stonebridge to get out to West Columbus Street to bypass the four-way stop. There are quotes in the local papers that our esteemed council members put up stop signs as a temporary fix until the four-way stop was corrected. Well folks I was up there this weekend handing out the newsletters and the stop signs are still there. The City of Pickerington just spent another $1,000,000 of our tax dollars to ?“fix the four-way stop?” and they never corrected the problems they themselves said needed to be fixed just one year ago. If the traffic is flowing so great how about taking down the stop signs on Stonebridge Boulevard? Are the drivers leaving the high school still speeding through the Stonebridge subdivision? Is traffic flowing through town at the old four-way stop fast enough now making it unnecessary to cut through Stonebridge? Has the increase of cars down Diley Road caused the road to crumble? Maybe it is the Concrete Trucks carrying concrete to pour basements on all those new homes along Diley.

Before you can correct any problem you first must understand the problem. With the exception of Mr. Shaver no one in our city government understands any of the problems they have created. Their only goal is to take care of the developers not the citizens. They recently closed the four-way stop to install BRICK CROSS WALKS. Of all the problems, did any of these idiots think about those of us that still had to go to work, not just those people heading down to the school house each morning. Oh that?’s right the Mayor was out of town last week. Now the bricks look nice but why did they spent the money? Was this for the grant money from the FEDS?

This is what you get when a small group of self serving politicians control the city hall and they do their business in stealth. They humor us by having a legal public hearing but they never listen to the public. They spend our money to keep themselves in power. Isn?’t about time that we turn them out?
