Bury The Schools or The Taxpayer

It's your choice. I don't want to sound like a lunatic loner because I know there are many, many folks out there just like me.

We won't be able to keep up on the funding end of these rezoning and the citizenry will eventually start turning down levy after levy. The average ordinary Joe or Jane is ''damned if we do and damned if we don't'' as far as continually passing levies, so why not be damned with a few more bucks in our pockets?

If Pickerington's population is around 9,500 and we've got 6,300 more homes on the way, what will the landscape look like then, and more importantly, what will our overall tax bill look like? The road to I-70 is jammed packed now and after 6,300 more homes??.... My tax bill is already high enough and I don't even use the lousy parks (yes, they are lousy - check 'em out yourself) Where's the community pool? Where's the recreation center? Thanks for pointing out how dumb my city leaders are P.A.T.A. I'm changing my voting habits immediately!

This resident is fed up and I'm voting ''NO'' on every damned thing!

YOU THINK ITS BAD NOW JUST WAIT IN 4-5 YEARS WHEN THE TAX INCREASE THAT WAS VOTED IN TO PAY FOR THE NEW SCHOOLS GOES INTO FULL EFFECT, I HAVE ASKED EARLIER DOES ANYONE HAVE THE CORRECT FIGURES , I KNOW THE TAX WAS LIKE A BALLOON MORTGAGE, THE FIRST FEW YEARS THE TAX WONT GO UP TO MUCH BUT THEN IT GOES SKY HIGH, IF ANYONE HAS THE TOTAL MILLAGE ON A 150K HOME PLEASE LET ME KNOW AS I HAVE LOST MY FIGURES. ALSO THE INCREASE IN AMBULANCE RUNS SEEMS TO BE IN THE AREA OF 256 AND 204 DUE TO ACCIDENTS. ONE GOOD WAY TO INCREASE REVENUES IS TO CHARGE FOR THE AMBULANCE RUNS, MOST INSURANCES WILL PAY FOR THAT WHEN THERE IS AN AUTOMOBILE ACCIDENT.
