As a citizen of Pickerington, I hereby request a summit between ALL of the following elected and appointed officials! The summit could be called the JGS Summit.

22 plus elected or appointed officials should be able to find a common ground or at least accurately inform the public regarding differences.

This is about OUR future. Hopefully any differences can be set aside for the betterment of OUR community as a whole. I know it?’s been tried previously?…TRY and TRY AGAIN! Keep trying until you succeed.

I will close by writing something that has been weighing on my mind?…

We do not need politicians, WE NEED COMMUNITY SERVANTS!

Sorry to make use of an already overused quote but ?“STOP BEATING A DEAD HORSE!?” We appreciate the fact that you still see a rainbow at the end of this storm, but it just isn?’t there this time.

Starting from the top ?– JOINT: Never happened, never will. The City doesn?’t have the need or the inclination to join with anyone. They have all the partners they need. They have Berry, Gray, Homewood, Dominion, etc. What could they gain by partnering with any of the others you mention? Did the others contribute thousands of dollars to their campaigns? I don?’t think so.

Out of the 22 plus elected officials you named I count approximately 6 that could be considered Community Servants. Those 6 obviously don?’t constitute a majority or a quorum. Until the 16 politicians are gone, I?’m sorry to say nothing will change.

I?’m a pessimist you say? Not really. Just a realist.
Not a Pollyanna? No, just someone who won?’t forget the past so I hopefully won?’t be doomed to repeat it.
