Hi everyone,

I was just wondering if anyone else was concerned about the number of dogs running free without a leash.  I've seen at least 4 different dogs that run around the neighborhood unleashed on a regular basis and I've seen them run out in front of cars and also I'm nervous about them biting my kids or attacking my dog or getting hit by a car.  There is also a number of feral cats that come in my backyard frequently but this doesn't concern me as much as the dogs.

I also feel that the gates should remain closed all the time.  A great deal of our HOA fee I believe pays for the gated community but a lot of the time the gates are wide open.

I would love a neighborhood park and if it's not in the funding I would be willing myself to pay an additional fee....how does everyone else feel about this?  I think if the kids in the neighborhood could play together at a neighborhood park that it would really bring the community together.

Hi everyone.

I can't say that I've seen the dogs, but I do have an serious issue with my neigbor's cats. They are constantly using my mulch around the trees in my front yard and even the lawn in the front yard as a litter box. This is unhealthy as I have grandkids who visit and like to play in the front yard. Not to mention, that I think it rude to not keep track of your pets and where they defecate.

As for the gates, they should remain closed all the time, I would imagine that is the intended purpose of having a gated community. Since we moved in, I have not seen the entry gates closed once. As mentioned above, the HOA fees, I'm sure cover the cost of the gates to be repaired and ensure that they remain closed and in working condition. When looking to move in to this community, the perception of the added security of a gated community was a plus. To our disappointment the entry gates have never worked. Does anyone know whom we would send this concern and pose the question of when they plan on addressing and rectifying this issue?
