Would like to know how many others in the neighborhood have had to replace the coils on their A/C unit already or have a Freon leak at present. Please post your replys.

AC Replacement
Yep, found out yesterday yet another QUALITY (and I say that sarcastically) part of my NEW Continental home is doing it's job. I had a service done on my AC and found the coils so corroded that I had to have them replaced, but the rusting/leaking was so bad, I was told the unit wouldn't last for but a few more years. So, I opted to buy a new AC. This time, I didn't buy a Carrier, but a Trane, to the tune of over $6,000! I've lived in my house but 2 years and 9 months. Continental strikes again!! |
