Treasurer update - Checking account fee $9 - $14 a month, free after PPCA establish non-profit status.
- Greg Rich (PPCA Accountant) getting forms for PPCA to file. One time fee of $150 to file. Bank
will need EIN number for tax exempt.
- To date, all members payed full $20.00
Area Rep's asked for feedback canvasing their areas. Feedback good.
Traffic and Safety - Company our of Akron has "Children at Play" sign, a one time set up fee of $40 and they run $10 - $20.
- Committee filed a compaint and will have speed on Grand Haven, Kittensett, Harbour Town and
Highland Park monitored.
- Committee talked with Steve Tweed, Traffic and Safety for city, regarding speed bumps, he suggest that first PPCA set what actions we want to move forward on, petition at least 60% approval and signature of residents on that street, and upon approval have option of 3 different kinds of speed bumps.
- Committee also suggest that PPCA look into Stop Sign route.
- May also add Cedar Ridge Dr and Oakland Hills Dr into study for speeding issue.
- PPCA voting memebers to vote in February regarding how we want to move forward on the Speed
SPEED BUMP or STOP SIGN ISSUE.
- Melinda Alic offered to get info out to PPCA residents, that we will be holding a vote at the Feb.
meeting.
- Street lighting- AEP only does leasing, whoever has light in front of their home, pays for it.
- City muct have 60% of street to agree. Apprx. $700 per houshold to prorate over 10 years, which
would be paid thru homeowners property tax.
- Committee trying to ge back to developer to ask if they would share any cost.
„h Welcome Wagon - Fay Johnsons said the Welcome Wagon committe will get out to residents and get info for PANDA. Matt and Melinda Alic will check E-mail and get the directory info to Katie
Brummett by November 13th.
BOB and JULIE LAMB have offered to be AREA REP'S for AREA 8.

Activity - Committee would like to hold a Holiday Lights and Decoration contest. PPCA members
liked the idea and asked the committee to move forward with the contest. Activity committee will
schedule a planning meeting. Anyone interested in helping out, please contact Diana McDonald at
860-9711.
- Holiday carolors were also suggested, we will discuss at meeting.
Deeds- Ellen Paulus needs copies of each area's deeds. Year 2000 will get info out to residents regearding deeds.
Melinda Alic reports - PPCA Web site has had over 1000 hits since September!!!!!
Safe Home - Looking into the stickers that residents put in their window, that would let
children know that home is a safe place to go for help.
Executive committee to schedule a meeting in January, to get guest speakers established for next years meetings.

Snow Removal - Melinda Alic contacted city to see if there would be any conflicts with private contractor doing snow removal. Her first call, no conflict. Second call- discoraged it. City would bring out carrels of salt to put at main intersections.
