Good afternoon ....
I have some good news for a change.
Now for the news .........
On Monday (April 10, 2000) Columbus City Council voted and approved an emergency legislation on the widening of the Hines/Tussing intersection along with installation of a signal light.
So we are on the schedule, but the construction will not start until the Jul/Aug time frame, with a run time from 60 to 90 days. The bidding is underway and once the contract is awarded the next major delay will be the signal light pole itself. According to Mark Richard in the City construction office the poles are built on a one off basis. Mr. Richard is also fighting for a 60 day construction time, but realizes that it my take no more than 90 days.
So with that the Tussing Area Coalition has it's first (well sort of) victory
