Re: follow up to our meeting
One should reflect on a meeting. Minutes would help. As I reflect on our meeting, I am struck by the support for the herbs. They are largely responsible for the “clutter” and I doubt that few people would find them attractive. I do not use herbs BUT I support the “herb garden.” Would ditching the pots and creating a real herb garden be helpful? I support the growing of herbs and the grill, which I also do not use, because I support the premise that the purpose of condo common areas is to allow activities that are not practical for a single unit. When I tried to get an entertainment unit with a large screen TV in the common area, I was told, “If you want that, get one for your unit.” I am sure some people would say, “Want to grow herb? Use your window sill or get a grow light. Want to grill out? Go to the park”
Just a little research on herb gardens suggests a couple of ways to improve ours – attractive identical or matching containers and/or scotter them among other plantings. Below is one plan which could be adapted for the area near the grill??
