The thoughts about an Accelerated Learning Center at the old Schwegmann?’s store are essentially dead. Citizen acceptance was not forthcoming, and more significantly, funding problems arose for the buildings improvements. The School Board was reluctant to invest significant capital in a building they would not own. The School Board and Administration are looking at sites on the other side of the river.
