If the Hornets make it to New Orleans (and they should), look for a strong push from Algiers?’ legislators and the Algiers Economic Development Foundation to locate the Hornets practice facility near the Behrman Sports Complex. Acreage is available and proximity to the Arena is significantly better than a facility in New Orleans East. Too, look for the Hornets?’ ownership and some coaches and players to locate in English Turn. So, a facility in Algiers would be a natural.
