Are your fall Sunday afternoons disrupted by loud airplane engine noise, particularly during Bronco games? Mine are and there seems to be nothing we can do about it. Councilman Gallager's aide says airplanes are under federal control. Our congresswoman feels powerless to do anything with the situation and the FAA provides no forum for grievances. Even the mighty Broncos probably have no control. During the San Diego game, which I attended, a plane, sponsored by Coldwell-Banker, was so loud, it drowned out the public address system at the stadium.
What can we do? Send petitions to the sponsor of the banner planes? What?
