Next Meeting: Wednesday, October 12, 7:00 p.m. at the Youth Center On Lashley Street.
Topics of discussion include the grant project and bike path clean up and clearing. We welcome any suggestions or any concerns you may have regarding our neighborhood. You are the voice of your neighborhood, please join us. It?’s always nice to see new faces among us and it?’s a great way to get to know your neighbors.
1. Announcements: The minutes from each meeting will be posted on our neighborhood website at:
www.neighborhoodlink.com/longmont/parkridgewest
They can be found under ?“neighborhood Newsletter?” Please visit this website for additional neighborhood information.
2. Updates:
Neighborhood sign: We recently learned that the sign is 6?” too tall and the plans will have to be changed to make the sign shorter. Since the location of the sign will be in the right of way, Jon Clarke is dealing with the City in order to get approval. He should hear something in the next couple of weeks. Lia will speak to Costin about the details of the sign and update us at the next meeting.
Bike Path clean up and clearing: Flyers were delivered to the houses that back up to the bike path describing what will be done back there. A few neighbors attended the meeting to voice their concerns over this project. A special meeting will be held to hear any concerns and issues neighbors may have. The meeting will include Jon Clarke and the head of the city?’s Parks Dept. If you would like to attend this meeting, please contact Lia at 303-772-1096.
3. The issue of residential code violations came up again, specifically household items left in yards for several weeks. Please call Code Enforcement if you have any questions or concerns at 303-651-8721.
Please watch and be aware of any unusual activity in your area. If you see something or someone suspicious, call the police. By working together and watching the activity around us, we can all make our neighborhood a safer place!
