The minutes from each meeting will be posted on our neighborhood website.

Please remember, If you deliver the meeting flyers they should NOT be placed in, on or around mailboxes. This is against the law. Thank you.
3. This month?’s meeting was about ideas for the grant money. Parkridge West may apply for up to $6,000.00 in grant money to be used in making improvements in our area.
Mike spoke about the neighborhood sign idea and the bike path adjacent to the bowling alley. We decided that this would be our improvements. Rebecca has taken digital photos of the area and manipulated them to show what the bike path would look like after the clean up is finished. This will all have to be done in different phases.
Lonnie passed around a sign up sheet for a proposal committee. Sign up sheets will also be passed around later for volunteers to commit to helping on different committees. We need to include in the newsletter that we will need additional volunteers once the grant money is awarded.
Lonnie will also include committee members phone numbers on the bottom of the flyers so anyone wishing to get in touch with these individuals will be able to. Please volunteer your time, and if you have any questions or comments, please contact Lonnie or Karen.
4. Clark spoke about the traffic issue on Martin Road. He has been in touch with the city and it has been suggested that perhaps traffic circles be used on either end of Martin Rd. where the two ?½ cul de sacs are located. These could perhaps be put in on a temporary basis. It was also suggested that maybe "bottle-necks?” could be used near the crosswalk area. 75% of the affected people would have to agree to any proposed remedy.
5. Lonnie suggested that if we want trick-or-treaters to come to our houses on Halloween we should ?“open up our gates?” to make our neighborhood more welcoming.
6. Meetings may be changed to a different day after the first of the year in order to accommodate others that wish to attend but can?’t do so on Wednesday?’s. This will be discussed at a later date.
7. You are the voice of your neighborhood, please join us. Our meetings are scheduled for the second Wednesday of each month at the Youth Center on Lashley Street.
