Welcome newcomers. It?’s always nice to see new faces among us. Please invite your neighbors!

1. Announcements:
The minutes from each meeting will be posted on our neighborhood website.

2. Elections of Officers: Karen formed a committee to go around the neighborhood to see if anyone was interested in being an officer. Lia Granby is our new group leader. She will be able to make it to the meetings but the meeting night will have to be changed to a different day. Lia is excited to take the position. She is a mother of 4, works for the Health Department and also teaches a Spanish class. She has worked on safety issues in neighborhoods and has experience working with different city departments. Lonnie will continue to work with Lia to get her up to speed on what we have been working on.
Karen will continue as assistant group leader and Rebecca will serve as our treasurer.


3. Rebecca will update the website and ask for suggested meeting nights.

4. Mike updated us on the status of the grant proposal. It has been submitted and the city will review it and send it back to us for corrections and then we will re-submit it. After we receive the grant money, work will begin. It will take anywhere from 4 to 8 weekends to complete our projects.

5. A special thanks to Lonnie for being such a wonderful group leader! We appreciate your hard work and dedication to getting our neighborhood group up and running and for all of the amazing things you?’ve helped us accomplish in our first year. THANKS SO MUCH!
