Fences

We appreciate any homeowners who choose to bear the entire burden to repair or replace perimeter fences that share property borders. The board position is that fences that border two home properties should be repaired or replaced with a equal burden on each bordering home. Neighbors should derive an understanding about what constitutes an equal burden. Fences that don’t border another home property (ie. Backs up to a field or road) are the full responsibility of the home owner.

LIGHTING

The board recommends for safety sake that an exterior light, such as your front porch light, remain lit during the hours of darkness. This simple safety step costs just pennies a night, illuminates the darkness, and has been statistically proven to deter vandalism and theft.
