Oil Slicks

Here are some articles

Here's what I was suggesting. I thought it would be something the HO association might publish in a newsletter if oily driveways were such a concern. I didn't expect to get questioned on why I cared or posted at all.

4. Driveway Maintainence: Cleaning & Repair:

5. MANY MORE, via Google.com

So, there are some solutions which is what I thought people should offer instead of just complaining and questioning people's personality. Some people just need a little information and consideration. Perhaps there are elderly or handicapped neighbors who could use help rather than scorn to clean up troublesome stains on their driveway? My point is don't just people so quickly and harshly just because they don't look and behave just like you do. In short, be a better neighbor.

Stubborn Oil Slicks

THANK YOU to the author of HERE ARE SOME ARTICLES. I will look up a possible solution because we have tried the cat litter, clorox, power wash, heavy-duty grease remover and have been unsuccessful. Hopefully I will find something in these articles that will help. We don't like the unsightly oil stains either but are making an effort to get rid of them. We have noticed that the falling flowers from the creape myrtles also stain the driveway. It is very frustrating because we had just powerwashed!
