We Need Volunteers for the Easter Egg Hunt!

Parkwood Ranch HOA Board of Directors is asking the community to help us organize the first ever Parkwood Ranch Easter Egg Hunt. We need volunteers who will be willing to help organize and run this event. The tentative date set for this event is March 30. If any one is interested in helping us please contact Stephanie Fee at 921-7500 or one of the members of the board. Their numbers are on the newsletter. Thank you for your support.

Nominee Committee Presents Selections

The nominee committee met on January 17 at Skyline High School and heard the credentials of over 5 home owners interested in serving on the board. From this list, 4 nominees were selected and presented to the home owners as possible board members to be voted on in April at the Anual Meeting. The nominees chosen were: Phyllis Gresser, Alan Copeland, Francisco Reyne, and Kate Benson. All of these people have been involved in the planing of our community through neighborhood watch, committee service, community service, etc, and have demonstrated a willingness to serve the members of the HOA. Board members are not paid for their involvment they are volunteers who live within Parkwood Ranch who are concerned about the community and want it to reach its full potential. If you are interested in becoming involved with the community please contact Stephanie Fee 921-7500 or contact one of the current board members for more information. Board members have their phone numbers published in the news letters.

Aquatic Center Closer to Becoming a Reality!

Members of the Neighborhood group were contacted by a member of the City of Mesa Aquatics about having an aquatic center built at the Skyline Park that is now under construction. The neighborhood group responded by gathering more than 600 signatures to present to the city to express interest in the project. After talking to Terry Palmer, our contact on this issue, it appears that the aquatic center is one step closer to becoming a reality. Thank you to all those volunteers and residents who helped gather the signatures needs. If you have any questions or comments please contact Terri Palmer at 644-2194.
