the District Five Neighborhood Action Committee (NAC) ?– a group of approximately 30-some residents and block club leaders who meet monthly to discuss and plan for issues and strategies to improve quality of life in our neighborhoods. The two Annual Neighborhood Clean Ups, community notification of events, Block Club organizing and crime prevention topics are some of the covered areas of District Council work. The Neighborhood Action Committee (NAC) will be altering its meeting format in response to tonight?’s input ?– and monthly sessions will tackle the topics identified tonight as we address priority issues together.
