BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING
WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 27, 2008 7:00

The meeting was called to order by Board President Karen at 7:10 p.m. In attendance were Board members Al Delio, John Anderson, Trish Lewis and Judy Aidi. Also attending was Gary House, Premier Community Managers and one homeowner.

Proof of Notice was acknowledged unanimously and a quorum certified with 5 out of 6 Board Members present.

A motion was made by Al to approve the July ?’08 meeting minutes, 2nd by John, UA.

The July 31, 2008 financials were received and reviewed. The Delinquency report was also reviewed without any further action. Al submitted a preliminary budget and further discussion was tabled to the September meeting pending the receipt of a budget worksheet and reserve analysis by Gary. Gary will submit his version to Al and the Board prior to the September meeting.

The Board reviewed ways to cut the anticipated 2008 deficit. A motion was made by Judy to stop all further sheriff deputy patrols for the remainder of 2008, 2nd by Al, UA. Gary to notify the department.

Closing the pool was also discussed and Trish volunteered to contact the pool contractor, find out details of cost and pros, cons of closing the pool and will submit a report at the September meeting.

Nanak Landscaping had submitted two proposals for landscape upgrades to the front entries. A motion was made by Judy to approve the proposals; one for $3,372 and another $2,150, 2nd by Trish, discussion followed the irrigation proposal received was to be clarified prior to the work being done and Gary to notify Karen once he talks to Gary Monge on why the irrigation proposal is so high. The motion carried unanimously.

The meeting was adjourned unanimously at 8:40.
