Since issues have been continously brought to the attention of the Police and they have been overwhelmed with complaints, here are the rules for PARKING on the streets in our neighborhood. (Penn-Pines)
Per Police:
no parking within 3 feet of a driveway or mailbox, no restricting people from backing out of their driveay, (although the streets are wide enough if you can not back your car out of the driveway with a car parked on the street, perhaps you need to take a driving course, I managed to back out of my driveway for 3 years with trucks and vans parked behind my drive without an issue) No parking within 30 feet of a stop sign and we have to park in the same direction as the flow of traffic. Since this has been brought to the attention of the police, over and over and over again, just thought I'd pass this along to everyone so you don't risk getting a ticket or towed.
These rules are provided by the Police department.
