Activities in Assisi, Italy -- Day 16

The delegation will travel to Assisi, famous for St. Francis of Assisi, who lived here in the 12th century, and founded the monastic order which carries his name. After they receive an orientation to the city and its history, the delegation will visit the Franciscan Monastery, where they will get to speak to a monk or priest of the Franciscan Order, who will tell them about life in the monastery (so different from their lives in New Jersey!).
