So, back a ways, I lived on Wyckoff St between Court and Smith street.  Just around the corner from a Chinese place that at the time had the strangest name "Lung Fat" but had some great food.  It was . . . wow, can it really be 20ish years ago?   How can it be 20 years ago, I don't even feel that old . . .

Life happened between then and now, including but not limited to a really horrific marriage.  So not the old neighboorhoods problem though.

At any rate, back in the day one of my neighbors lived across the street and just down the block.  Her parents and brother still lived on the block and she lived in a house with her husband Frank and Daughter Heather.  Her name was Joy, but I don't remember her last name.  The thing I most remember about Frank was that he was a Mason and was shocked when he bet me I couldn't break this specail kind of firebrick with my bare hands.  He even bounced a hammer of it a bunch to provce only a special saw could cut one in half.  Then, I broke it, to prove that marial arts really was more than just some fancy moves and strange noises.  He was shocked, Heather was impressed.  Which is so not why I did it.

So, anyway, I've been trying for the longerst time to remember Joy's last name so I could look her up and catch up on life.  See how she and the family were, that kind of thing.  But my head is so swisscheesed in ways I simply can't remember.
