The Brewbaker Schools Complex is our local public school. When my children were younger, they both attended there.
It distresses me that their site is so plain in some areas, and downright rundown in other areas. The Montgomery Public School system is overwhelmed with a backlog of work and a shortage of manpower and resources. WE have the power to make a significant impact by working together to achieve some synergy.
My proposal is for the PTAs, our Neighborhood Association, the Montgomery Public School system, and maybe even the City of Montgomery to plan a coordinated ''Workday'' where we could all grab a shovel, a broom, a paintbrush, whatever, and make some improvements.
