Thank you Wendy. I believe we all have concerns and a stake in this misunderstanding. I got a rather impolite phone call from someone who refused to give me his name - that person has since been identified. If he is a logical or intelligent man, he will make a sincere apology to me at the start of the next meeting. I seriously doubt anyone will come forward as the person who is representing himself/herself as one of the board members. I can't imagine what would provoke someone into saying something so unfounded. However, I truly invite anyone at the next meeting to find out what kind of person I am before they pass judgement on my values as a neighbor. Whoever began the rumor is certainly not someone I would want representing my needs as a Tucson resident! Bev, I hope you appreciate where we are coming from; we have the same concerns as you, and have no need for discourse among neighbors.
